​CHUNG STUDIO

Joy Chung moved to Australia from Hong Kong in 2003. She graduated from Deakin University with a Bachelor Degree in Contemporary Arts, with majors in Film and Video . During her studies she developed a passion for Photography and Cinematography.​

​

Joy​​ has more than ten years experience in portraits photography. She believes that there is something to be learned from every images and every subject.Joy is a photographer for Love Journey Exhibition which is 2011 Melbourne Midsumma Festival "Premier Event" and a photographer for a fashion website-mecho.com .​

​

​Joy also has a passion for Cinematography and she was director of photography for the short film ‘Honey Pot’ where she was in charge of coordinating and operating all the recording, sound and lighting equipment. ‘Honey Pot’ has been accepted into Melbourne Queer Film Festival 2011, Mumbai International Queer Film Festival 2011 and San Gio Verona Video Festival 2011. She participated in various Quick Chat Productions projects as camera operator, production assistant, lighting operator.​
